One of the best ways to beat summer's heat is to train hard at Seichou Karate® to raise your body temperature a little and then, after you have showered and cooled down, enjoy the following refreshing Personal Growth Mint Iced Tea:
INGREDIENTS
1 quart water
4 family size tea bags
½ cup honey
1 bunch mint leaves
2 lemons or limes
METHOD:
Boil water and remove from heat
Add tea bags and steep for 2 minutes
Add mint leaves and steep for 1 minute
Add honey, stir and steep for 5 minutes
Wash lemons or limes well. Insert a heavy fork into each fruit and rotate vigorously in order to extract all of the juice. Dispose of the used lemons or limes. Cool in refrigerator on the counter-top.
Note that the Japanese drink hot tea throughout the year because they believe that it is unhealthy to consume cold fluids when the body (or the weather) is very hot. However, if you're not up for hot tea when the thermometer is about to burst, then try drinking this tea at room temperature or with just one or two cubes of ice. These days, "slightly cool" is very hip!
