The ACVA hosts a regular schedule of events including
A monthly meeting for networking and discussing marketing and other tourism-related topics (formerly the Fun Side Forum)
A tourism-education class held three times a year. This half-day class, which is designed to help front-line employees welcome visitors, includes a brief look at the history and attractions of the city, an overview of the city's neighborhoods, and some basics on customer care. There is a small fee to cover materials and refreshments, and reservations are required.
The annual meeting is held at the end of September. With an address from the ACVA's president and a guest speaker, the program includes the highlights of the past year as well as the outlook for the coming year.
