What makes you original and unique?
I run, I play the harmonica, I can juggle and my food is whimsical and delicious.
Who or what inspired you to come to Alexandria?
It's a beautiful place close to Washington D.C. and I love to be by the water.
What is your secret to success?
Work hard and have fun!
What is your proudest achievement?
Serving high-quality food, day in and day out.
Do you have a favorite Alexandria travel tip and or a favorite recipe you are willing to share? (Please include)
Rent a kayak at Belle Haven Yacht Club and head north. It's a great way to see the sites on both sides of the river.
Best date idea in Alexandria?
A walk along the water, Ice cream before dinner at Pops, Dinner at the Morrison House on a Friday night. After dinner listen to some live Blues and Jazz in the Grille, and grab some late-night drinks at the PX.
Favorite places to go for brunch, happy hour, dinner under the stars, lunch deals, and places to take your dog?
Brunch at the Morrison House (I know it's my restaurant, but it is the best!). For happy hour I reccommend Eve. Jackson 20 has the best outdoor dining and I suggest the New York Deli for lunch.
If you had friends visiting Alexandria what would you tell them to do and see during their visit?
Rent a bike and head south to Mount Vernon. It's a great ride! If you're up to it, you can run the 10 miles from King Street to Mount Vernon.
