The fine dining food and wine experience at bistro prices. Cooked by a French Chef and an award-winning Pastry chef.

Who or what inspired you to come to Alexandria?
We enjoyed living in Alexandria for several years and follow the example and advices of personal friends, and award-wining chef/owner, Cathal Armstrong.

What is your secret to success?
Consistency and personal care at every level of the dining experience.

What is your proudest achievement?
Media and press accolades are nice but the most important is being appreciated and recognized as one of the best restaurant in the area after only 2 years of existence.

Do you have a favorite recipe you are willing to share?
Foie-gras crème caramel
Creme Brulee
Fresh Crab and Crawfish

Best date idea in Alexandria?
Take a boat cruise up the Potomac toward Georgetown.

Favorite places to go for brunch, happy hour, dinner under the stars, lunch deals, and places to take your dog?
Obviously going to Bastille for Brunch, Al Fresco dinner, lunch and the unbeatable Sunday dinner, but we love to go the Farrah Olivia for Brunch and enjoy a lot Vermillion for Dinner. For a very special dining experience, the Tasting Room at Restaurant Eve is unforgettable.
